Tau aggregates localize to endosomal compartments. HeLa cells were processed for ultrathin cryosectioning and immunogold labeled for Tau (PAG 5 nm; A, C, and D) or double immunogold labeled for Tau (PAG 5 nm, arrows) and Lamp1 (PAG 10 nm; B, E, and F).
