Cytokine secretion profile of CTLA-4WT and CTLA-4KO naïve CD4+ Tg4 splenocytes. (A) Tg4 CTLA-4WT and CTLA-4KO CD4+CD62L+ splenocytes were stimulated with 1 μg/mL MBP Ac1–9 for 7 d before treatment with PMA/ionomycin for 4 h. Cells were stained for surface CD4 and intracellularly for IL-2, IL-4, IL-10, IL-17, and IFN-γ. Plots are gated on live CD4+ cells and representative of three similar experiments.
