Signs and symptoms of scorpion envenomation

Grade Description
I Localized pain and/or paresthesias at the site of envenomation
II Pain and/or paraesthesias remote from site of envenomation
III Either cranial nerve or neuromuscular dysfunction
 Cranial nerve dysfunction: tongue fasiculations, hypersalivation, slurred speech or opsoclonus
 Neuromuscular dysfunction: involuntary shaking and jerking of the extremities
IV Both cranial nerve and neuromuscular dysfunction
