GIST48 (A), GIST882 (B), and COS-1 cells expressing mutant KITV560D (C) were treated with 100 μg/mL CHX alone or in combination with 1 μM AUY922 for the indicated time. Cells were lysed and analyzed by immunoblotting against KIT. KIT expression was normalized to ACTIN and compared with the untreated control. The half-life of the KIT protein was estimated based on the relative KIT expression ratio. The data are expressed as the mean ± SE of two or more independent experiments.
