The positive effect of MK3 on eIF2α phosphorylation was inhibited by MK2.
MK2 and/or MK3 altered expression of HSPB1, HSPB6, HSPB8, CHOP, and MNK1, and phosphorylation of HSPB1, eIF2α, and MNK1, in the indicated manner. See Table 1 for further explanation.
