ANDV does not increase S6K phosphorylation or activity during infection. The time courses of S6K and S6 phosphorylation in HMVEC-L cells infected with ANDV (MOI of 3) are shown. Cells were infected with ANDV and lysed at different times postinfection. ANDV infection did not significantly increase p70 S6K, p85 S6K (data not shown), or S6 phosphorylation at all times tested (data for 0, 8, and 12 hpi, not shown).
