Discs are incubated with the bacteria in co-culture however CFU for the two bacteria are separated by their difference in colony morphology. The number of CFU as affected by surface, pH and atmosphere was analyzed with ANOVA and the results for the main factors presented in this table. The p-values indicating significant difference are marked with *.
