SCD-16 in SAT-TG increased in OP rats fed a HFD. HFD-induced SCD-16 activity calculated from the subcutaneous adipose tissue triacylglycerol (SAT-TG) ratio 16:1n-7/16:0. Obesity-prone (OP) rats had a significantly higher ratio than obesity-resistant (OR; P < 0.01) and HFD-paired (P < 0.05) rats, even after removing the lowest value (outlier) in OR.
