Concentrations of HMMA and HHMA represent total amounts of free HMMA and HHMA obtained after enzymatic conjugate cleavage. Data represent the mean ± S.E.M. (n = 9). Pharmacokinetic parameters were compared using two-tailed paired Student’s t tests. Differences found at the two ambient temperatures were nonsignificant (i.e., P > 0.05).
