The blots are from three different experiments; the blot in the middle is from the blot shown in Fig. 5. B. Plots of the areas of the 1.3 and 1.0 kb bands measured from the Northern blots using the Scion Image computer program. The ratios of the 1.0 to the 1.3 kb band calculated from these plots were 1.41, 1.29, and 1.41 respectively.
