Hsp90-associated proteins detected by co-immunoprecipitation in CD4⁺ T-cell lysates from the elderly. (a) Hsp90 co-immunoprecipitated proteins obtained from CD4⁺ T cells from five independent young and elderly donor pairs were resolved by SDS–PAGE and stained with Bio-Safe Coomassie. The predominant band at 225 kDa (more abundent in the elderly) was excised and analyzed by LC–MS/MS. (b) Proteomic profiles (spectrum and amino acid sequence) of peptides that matched the myosin IIA protein sequence obtained from the excised band.
