Impaired phosphorylation of Thr308 and Ser473 of Akt in skeletal muscle from burned mice. Skeletal muscle tissues from burned mice were homogenized with Cell Signaling buffer and phosphorylation levels of Thr308 and Ser473 in Akt1 were measured by ELISA. Calibration curves were prepared according to the manufacture’s protocol. The phosphorylation units obtained were normalized to tissue weight.
