Baseline characteristics were compared between different arterial blood pressure groups. * P<0.05 ** P<0.01 vs. Normotension. Using χ2 or Fisher’s exact test (where *** an expected cell count was <5) for categorical variables and unpaired Student’s t test for continuous variables. In the testing, a P value <0.05 was considered to be statistically significant. SUA – Serum uric acid; BMI – body mass index; FBG – fasting blood glucose; HDL – high density lipoprotein; LDL – low density lipoprotein; TC – Total cholesterol; TG – Triglyceride; SBP – systolic blood pressure; DBP – Diastolic blood pressure.
