mRNA expression of perlecan using domain specific primers. mRNA derived from both HMC-1 cells and HCAECs was isolated and used to generate cDNA, which was amplified using domain-specific primers and electrophoresed on 1% (w/v) agarose gels. Products from the GAPDH primer set were electrophoresed on each gel to indicate that the same amount of cDNA was loaded on each gel for each cell type.
