Basophils were cultured with or without Asp f 1 in the presence of IL-3 for 24 hours. These cells were stimulated with anti-IgE antibodies (10 ng/ml) during last one hour of the culture. Basophil response was determined by analyzing the expression of activation-associated markers CD203c, CD13 and CD63 by flow cytometry. Data (mean ± SEM) are from three independent experiments.
