Basophils were cultured in X-Vivo medium containing 5% human AB serum and IL-3 alone (panel: unstimulated basophils) or IL-3 plus Bet v 1 or IL-3 plus anti-IgE antibodies for 24 hours. The phenotype of basophils was analyzed by flow cytometry. Percentage of cells expressing indicated markers are indicated. Results are representative of three experiments.
