(A) HepG2 cells were transfected with miR-148a or miR-148a plus HPIP and analyzed for MTOR mRNA expression by real-time RT-PCR and for HPIP expression by immunoblot. All values shown are mean ± SD of triplicate measurements and have been repeated 3 times with similar results (*P < 0.01). (B) HepG2 cells were transfected with HPIP or HPIP siRNAs and analyzed as in A. (C) Western blot analysis of HepG2 cells transfected with miR-148a or miR-148a plus HPIP. (D) Western blot analysis of HepG2 cells transfected with HPIP or HPIP siRNAs. (E) Immunoblot analysis of HepG2 cells transfected with HPIP and treated for 24 hours with 10 μM PD98059 or 10 μM LY294002.
