Southern blot analysis. Genomic DNA from shark whole blood was isolated and digested with the restriction enzymes, BamHI (Lane 2), Eco RI (Lane 3), HindIII (Lane 4), and PstI (Lane 5), electrophoresed, transferred to a nylon membrane and subjected to hybridization with a DIG-labelled probe.
