Expression of Fibulin-2 and GFAP in wt and FHL2-deficient mice subjected to CCl₄ challenge. Expression of (A) Fibulin-2 (marker of portal fibroblasts) and (B) GFAP (marker of HSC) was analysed in wt and FHL2 deficient mice after CCl₄ challenge. Animal numbers analysed in this experiment were: n = 4 (wt, oil), n = 11 (wt, CCl₄), n = 4 (FHL2^−/−, oil), and n = 12 (FHL2^−/−, CCl₄). Please note that the differences in fibulin-2 expression between wt and FHL2^−/− animals after CCl₄ challenge are highly significant (***).
