Port placement for laparoscopic hand-assisted right (a) and left lobectomy (b). For right lobectomy, an 8 cm hand access site is placed in the supraumbilical position. Two 12 and two 5 mm ports are placed in the subxiphoid, R paramedian and R subcostal positions, respectively for hand-assisted liver mobilization and transaction.
