NOD mice with recent onset diabetes (2 consecutive readings of BGV>250 mg/dl), were treated with either anti-CD20 alone, oral insulin alone or a combination of both treatments, along with isotype control antibody treatment, oral diluent alone or anti-CD3 mAb treatment, as indicated in figures. These experiments were carried out in three independent labs (indicated in materials and methods) and the combined results were pooled to obtain the results shown here. The number of mice assigned to each treatment group is shown in the figure.
