Effect of sorafenib and different cytotoxic agents on viability of HB cells. HUH6 and HepT1 were treated with increasing concentrations of CDDP (0,15-10 μg ml⁻¹ (A and B), Doxorubicin (HUH6 (C): 0.009–0.6 μg ml⁻¹; HepT1 (D): 0.078–5.0 μg ml⁻¹), Irinotecan (0.78–50 μg ml⁻¹ (E and F), Topotecan (0.006–0.4 μg ml⁻¹ (G and H) and Sorafenib (1, 2 μℳ) for 72 h. Cell viability related to untreated control cultures was determined by MTT assay. Data represent mean±s.d. from triplicates.
