Four different antibodies tested for three ruminant TSE types. Lanes 1 to 3 contain PK digests of brain stem tissues infected with natural scrapie, sheep BSE, and bovine BSE, respectively. Western blotting of PK/PNGaseF digests was done with the antibodies indicated above the panels. The applied tissue equivalent was 500 μg per lane.
