Syntaxin-1 and munc-18 in supraoptic nucleus (SON) neurones. Syntaxin-1 immunoreactivity is present in hypothalamic sections (A–C), isolated SON neurones (D–F) and sections of the posterior pituitary (G–I) and partially co-localised with the peptide in all compartments.
