The data comes from a study that profiled the gene expression response of human pancreatic cancer xenografts in mice to the treatment with HhAntag, a potent inhibitor of Hedgehog signaling and a prospective anti-cancer drug [44]. In three out of four replicates PBOV1 expression was downregulated by more than 75%.
