Effects of simvastatin (Sim) and dexamethasone (Dex) on dsRNA-induced CXCL8 gene expression (A,B) and protein production (C,D). Simvastatin only had marginal inhibitory effects on dsRNA-induced CXCL8 gene expression and protein release in epithelial cells from COPD and control donors.
