The patients were grouped into those with low (<1.8-fold) and high (>1.8-fold) miR-21 expression in tumour tissues, with a significantly better prognosis for patients with low miR-21 expression (p = 0.029). (B) Expression of miR-21 in radiotherapy treated patients group. Although this analysis did not reach significance (p = 0.091) a clear trend is obvious for better prognosis of patients with low miR-21 expression.
