The biological spectrum of uveal melanoma includes bland spindle cells at one end and markedly anaplastic epithelioid tumor giant cells at the other. Fusiform spindle cells (a–d) have indistinct cytoplasmic borders and form syncytia. Epithelioid cells (e–i) are poorly cohesive.
