The results of the current method are compared with the method proposed by Wu et al., which does not take into account that large parts of the liver may not be encompassed by the treatment beams. The data is sorted based on the results of the Wu et al. method. The current method clearly results in more accurate predictions and especially less overestimations of the achievable dose.
