(A) Effects of tanshinone IIA on the cell cycle of PASMCs under normoxic (21% O2) and hypoxic (3% O2) conditions. Hypoxia for 24 h decreased PASMCs in G0/G1-phase and increased PASMCs in G2/S-phase. Tanshinone IIA (10 µg/mL) reversed the effects of hypoxia and arrested more PASMCs in G1/G0-phase. *P<0.05 vs normoxia group. #P<0.05 vs hypoxia group.
