(b) and (c) show the absorbance of the two systems between 1nM and10nM, in the systems transition region. Note that this difference in sensitivity is likely because the silver nanoparticles are kept at a lower concentration while still providing a similar optical signal, a factor of the higher optical cross section of silver.
