To evaluate the association between the mitotic CIN metagene expression and the 15-year survival, patients were divided into two groups: high mitotic CIN and low mitotic CIN. This binary expression level was determined by whether the mitotic CIN metagene expression value exceeding the mean of the patients. The P value of the association based on log-rank test is 1.8×10⁻⁸.
