At 8 weeks of age mean arterial blood pressure (MAP) (A) and renal vascular resistance (RVR) (B) were significantly elevated in the I3C-treated group after renin-angiotensin system (RAS)- stimulation. Whereas losartan-treatment was able to prevent the rise in MAP and RVR completely, hydralazine was also able to reduce them, yet MAP and RVR remained significantly elevated.
