A strong signal (shown in dark brown) is present in root cells of the spiral ligament (arrowhead), interdental cells of the spiral limbus (single arrow) and spiral ganglion neurons (double arrows). A weaker signal is present in the otic capsule (OC). Hybridization with a sense probe produced no signal. Scale bar = 200 µm.
