Initial moisture of the culture media expressed as wet basis moisture content corresponded to: 46.9% (1 mL g−1), 55.8% (1.5 mL g−1), 63.5% (2.0 mL g−1), 68.6% (2.5 mL g−1) and 73.0% (3.0 mL g−1).
