BACE1 levels were probed by Western blot and its levels were normalized to β-actin level, accordingly (A). BACE1 activity was measured and relative activity levels were compared to vehicle controls (B, Mean ± SD, student t-test, *p<0.05). Soluble APP β fragment (sAPPβ) (C) and APP expression (D) were probed by Western blot and its levels were normalized to β-actin level, accordingly. Spot density analysis was performed and a significant decrease was observed in BACE1 (A), sAPPβ (C) but not APP levels (D) in TLJN-treated mice compared to vehicles. Statistical analysis was performed and significance was presented as *p<0.05 (Mean ± SD, Student t-test).
