Basipetal and acropetal movement of IAA in roots was examined by applying [3H]-IAA in seven-day-old seedlings, and measuring radioactivity. Data are presented as mean ± SEM from 10 plants. P valuesa (control versus 35Spro::IAA15) and P valuesb (−NPA versus +NPA) were obtained by Student‘s t test.
