(A,B) Immunohistochemical staining for Sox9 and Pdx indicates no significant difference in the control (A) and DNMT1PCp53+/− (B) cell populations at E15.5. (C,D) Immunohistochemical analysis of control (C) and DNMT1PCp53+/−yfp+ (D) pancreas revealed a restoration of Ngn3+ expression in the absence of Dnmt1. Overlap with YFP indicates that these cells have arisen from cells that underwent recombination. (E,F) Gross analysis of control and DNMT1PCp53+/−yfp+ indicates that mutant pancreas are comparable with control littermates at P0.
