A) S100_{post-game – baseline} levels are significantly correlated to HHI scores (see MethodsMethods and Table S2). A statistically significant difference was found between HHI 0 and 6. Moreover, when S100_{post-game – baseline} values were plotted against HHI (0 to 6 as a continuous variable) a statistically significant correlation was observed (p<0.05; R² = 0.51). B) S100_{post-game – baseline} values are elevated only in players who experience head hits. Measurements were obtained by film game review.
