Effect of curcumin (Cur) treatment on the pain threshold in diabetic rats. Diabetes mellitus (DM) was associated with decreases in mechanical paw withdrawal threshold (A) and thermal paw withdrawal latency (B), but the decreases were significantly less in the curcumin-treated diabetic group than in the vehicle-treated diabetic group.
