In these analyses, the sample size was 950; 33 subjects were excluded because their measurements of lobar lung volume were not available. In these models, the main predictor was lobar emphysema as measured by CT scan. Adjustment for sex (female = 1), age, height, pack-y smoking, CT scanner brand/make, and lobar volume was performed.
