Five-day-old aerobic (A5) cultures, and 5-, 12-, and 19-day-old hypoxic (H5, H12, and H19, respectively) cultures were incubated with various combinations of drugs for 7, 14, and 21 days. R, rifampin; I, isoniazid; Z, pyrazinamide; E, ethambutol; AK, amikacin; MX, moxifloxacin; MZ, metronidazole; NZ, nitazoxanide; NC, niclosamide; PA, PA-824. The drug concentrations used were 8, 2, 100, 4, 8, 4, 8, 10, 0.3, and 2 μg/ml, respectively.
