Correlations of metabolic activities for VRC with CYP3A activities. Metabolic activities for VRC and midazolam were determined as the elimination rates of VRC and conversion rates of midazolam into 1′-hydroxylated (A) and 4-hydroxylated (B) metabolites in liver microsomes, respectively. Liver microsomes prepared from vehicle- or VRC-treated wild-type, Pxr-null, and Car-null mice were used. Twenty-four individual data points are plotted.
