(A) Plasmids encoding Flag-tagged IRF5, the Δ455-466 mutant, and the empty-vector control (pCMV) were cotransfected with the 5× ISRE luciferase promoter reporter, and promoter transactivation was determined by dual-luciferase assay. Independent experiments were repeated in duplicate wells at least three times; means ± SDs are plotted.
