Visualization of relative extent of virus-induced cell fusion in CHO cells expressing different cellular receptors. CHO-nectin-1, CHO-PILRα, and CHO-neo cells were infected with HSV-1(F), gKΔ31-68, gBΔ28syn, and gKΔ31-68/gBΔ28syn. Fourteen hpi the cells were fixed with methanol and stained with anti-HSV antibody.
