A. XRCC1 WT (AA8) and null (EM9) CHO cells, as well as human XRCC1 complemented EM9 (H9T3-6-3 and H9T3-7-1) cells were used to assess the toxicity of (B) MMS, (C) the ONOO donor SIN-1 and (D) gaseous NO·, using a clonogenic survival assay. P values were produced by a two-tailed t-test and only values below 0.05 are displayed.
