4-HNE decreased intracellular adiponectin protein abundance in 3T3-L1 adipocytes. Differentiated 3T3-L1 adipocytes were treated with 4-HNE (10 μM or 30 μM) for 16 h. The total protein in 3T3-L1 adipocytes was extracted to detect adiponectin protein abundance via ELISA assay (A) and Western blot (B). 4-HNE decreased intracellular adiponectin protein abundance in 3T3-L1 adipocytes.
