HeLa cells or A549 cells were incubated with cell culture medium or transiently transfected with either vector alone or a viperin overexpression construct. One day later, cells were mock treated or incubated with rgRSV at an MOI = 1. Two days later, HeLa or A549 cells were trypsinized and the percentage of infected cells was determined via flow cytometry.
