(A) Stem-like (1 × 10 ⁴) cells and non-stem (1 × 10 ⁴) cells were injected into the upper mammary fat pad of left and right side, respectively, in NOD/SCID mice (n=10). (B) Tumor volumes were measured 35 days after injection. The tumor volume showed significant difference (p=0.01). (C) Tumor was harvested 35 days later and cryosection was performed to detect cells containing GFP (stem-like cells) or RFP (non-stem cells). (D) Lysates containing equal amounts of protein from tumor tissues were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-Oct-4 antibody. Actin was shown as an internal standard.
