A) Several samples were selected at random and the resulting PCR products were sequenced to determine the number of GAG-repeats (representative sample result shown). The GAG repeats are underscored. B) Electropherogram of allelic ladder, made by pooling samples with different genotypes (determined by DNA sequencing) to represent all the five GAG alleles. This ladder was also was run on each plate as a control.
